This card by Emma Passmore is one of the winners of our second contest. She added her own words to an image by Mikey G Ottawa (compare Nathan Horowitz’s treatment of the same image in “fisheye“), and told us, “I really did have a dream about lives going round in circles. When I looked at the image of the housing block through the circular lens it brought it back to me.”

I love poems about dreams. And circles are common dream symbols, which makes this poem resonate. Plus the photo of the apartments brings to mind hidden lives, and people living in close quarters. Great job!
