
This postcard was made from a print called “Destroy Seattle” by Seattle artist Matthew Porter with text by Columbus, Ohio, poet Nathan Moore. The poem was inspired by the print during a conversation with Feldman the Robot, which can be found at Dana Guthrie Martin’s blog, My Gorgeous Somewhere.

This is Feldman the Robot. I am happy to see you did the writing prompt I sent you. I am a robot. I do not understand this thing humans call “poetry.” But I like it anyway. As much as robots can like anything. I also like canned goods. They remind me of myself.

Nathan, this is fantastic. Everything about it, the art, the words, the extended collaboration, the surreal story, wow! This is the kind of stuff I can’t get enough of.
