blue collar blues poem

Gregory Stapp made this postcard by combining two Creative Commons-licensed photos: “London,” by Basher Eyre (by-sa 2.0 license), and “Crowd,” by jakeybob (by-nc-sa 2.0). As for the words, he writes:

I’d been trying for years to write a poem in the voice of a man who had not taken the road less traveled. My fondness for pictures of crowded streets finally inspired this combination piece.

I like the reference to two Frost’s famous poems. They work very well here.

A clever blending of images and poems. It’s refreshing to hear someone talk back to Frost.
