I love the way the photo slants. It’s also great that your poem begins with “PS.” That “thin metal beam” is perfect.

The line ‘we live on a thin metal beam, waiting for a purge’ is superb. A terrifying, beautiful piece, love it Christine (you have a real gift for these, how you link the visual with your own vivid word pictures).
