Carolee Sherwood first created the collage — a self-portrait — as a project of its own, and some time later used it as a writing prompt. The result was the poem “tricky.” Later on she combined the two to make a postcard, printed at a commercial printer. When she heard about Postal Poetry, she sent us a digital version of the card.

Great image and poem. I love the font for the word “tricky” here and the relentless eyes of that cat.

Very clever and surreal, all the elements that move me. She’s a hard working girl, this collage creation.
